If you contact me via social media platforms, you should note that the chat history can neither be deleted by me nor by you. And that, in accordance with the GDPR, the relevant social media platform and I are jointly responsible for the processing of your data and enter into a so-called joint controller agreement. A Joint Controller Agreement itself is very legalistic and lengthy, but in a nutshell, it clarifies how the jointly responsible parties will fulfill the obligations arising from data protection laws that are applicable to them. The legal basis for the use of the relevant social media platform is our legitimate interest, your consent or, in the case of a (pre) contractual relationship with us, the initiation of a contractual service, if any. Facebook First of all, I would like to point out that this policy does not replace Facebook`s Privacy Policy and merely supplements it when you use my Facebook Fan Page or Facebook Group and/or my services on Facebook. In accordance with the GDPR, Meta Platform Inc., USA and its subsidiary Meta Platform Ltd, Ireland, and I are jointly responsible for the processing of your data and enter into a so-called joint controller agreement. A Joint Controller Agreement itself if very legalistic and lengthy, but in a nutshell, it clarifies how the jointly responsible parties will fulfil the obligations arising from data protection laws that are applicable to them. This allows, for example, advertisements to be placed within and outside the platforms that presumably correspond to your interests. I, as the provider of this policy, do not collect and process any data from your use of my service beyond this. If you contact me via Facebook`s Messenger, you should note the that the chat history can neither be deleted by me nor by you. For the storage period of the data stored by Facebook, please refer to Facebook`s Privacy Policy. Please also note that a Facebook chat can be encrypted but is not done so by default, and Facebook thus may have access to the contents of our communication. As with the above the legal basis for contacting me using Facebook Messenger is your consent. Furthermore, when you leave comments on my profile or in my Facebook Group, you may be able to display certain profile information, share certain details, engage with others, exchange knowledge and insights, post and view relevant content. It’s your choice whether to include sensitive information on your comment and to make that sensitive information public. Please do not post or add Personal Information to your comment that you would not want to be available. Lastly, when you request to join my Facebook Group through my website or receive an invite from me, I collect, process, and use your name, and e-mail address. The legal basis for the use of Facebook is my legitimate interest, your consent or, in the case of a (pre) contractual relationship with me, the initiation of a contractual service. Entre Institute I also use the Entre System of Lifestyle Design International, LLC (“Entre”) system to process user data and do lead management. Your details may be stored in the Entre system, and I may use your Personal Information in connection with the services offered to me by Entre including marketing, to fulfill my contractual obligations to you or to carry out pre-contractual measures. How I protect your PII My data processing is subject to the principle that I only process the PII that is necessary for the use of my services. In doing so, I take great care to ensure that your privacy and the confidentiality of all PII are always guaranteed. All transmitted data is protected by HTTPS encryption. Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) is a protocol used to ensure secure data transmission on the Internet. The public-private key procedure is used here. This means that data encrypted with a publicly accessible key can only be decrypted again with a separate private key. Upon becoming aware of a data breach, I will notify all affected individuals whose PII may have been compromised, and the notice will be accompanied by a description of the action being taken to reconcile any damage as a result of the data breach.
